18th Annual NAASTI Cup

November 15-16, 2008

The Soccer Six Tournament Series returns to Hilton Head for the 18th Annual NAASTI Cup. This year the adult 6-on-6 soccer tournament will played in November. Teams participating in the NAASTI Cup may compete in any one of the 9 adult divisions: Men's A, B, 30+, 40+ Women's A, B, 30+ or Co-ed A, B. ( A - premier, B- competitive.)

Since 1990, over 650 adult soccer teams have competed in the tournament, which has become a tradition for many. NAASTI Cup tournament weekend includes a three-game guarantee and players party with door prizes, discount food and drink specials. All teams that participate are also invited to compete in the Winter Nationals which will be held at Jekyll Island, GA January 24-25, 2009.

The fast-paced Soccer Six game is played on a 60 x 40 yard pitch with five field players and a goal keeper. Goal sizes are 6 1/2 x 12 feet, and a smaller size 4 ball is used. Rosters are limited to 10 players. Co-ed games require two females on the field at all times, and each goal scored by them is worth two scores.

Traditionally the NAASTI Cup features between 25 - 30 teams.
