The Inaugural Soccer Six Virginia Cup will be held at Dorey Park in Richmond the weekend of July 9 - 11. This is the same weekend as the World Cup Finals so what better way to celebrate then to get out on the pitch and play yourself. Our games will be scheduled around Saturday and Sunday's World Cup Matches.
Tournament play begins Friday Evening at 7:00 p.m. and continues until 10:00 p.m., ( Your team does not have to play a game Friday night, these games are optional - but they do count ) Saturday's matches begin at 8:00 a.m. Match play will finish around 1 p.m. follow by a Players Party at Buffalo Wild Wings. Semi-final and final matches begin Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and finish by 1pm. Admission for spectators is FREE, door prizes and refreshments will be available.
The Soccer Six VA Cup is
open to all teams in 9 adult divisions
including: Men's A, B, Rec, 30+, 40+
Women's A, B, and Co-ed A & B.
The men's and women's open division will
feature elite players, the B division advanced
players. Co-ed divisions will feature a
combination of skill levels. Tournament Champions and runner up teams in all divisions will receive a team trophy and player gift package.
The Soccer Six Tournament Series is
the nation’s oldest soccer tournament series of
its kind.
The SSTS provides amateur adult soccer
players a chance to participate year-round
against prominent clubs and recreational teams
from across the United States and Canada.
Since 1997, over 60,000 adult soccer
players have competed in the Soccer Six
Tournament Series
Teams competing in the
Virginia Cup are guaranteed a minimum of 3
games. The entry fee is $275 prior to 6/4, $300 thru 7/2 then $325 until deadline on 7/6. Your team fee includes a size 4 soccer
ball. The tournament committee reserves the
right to combine divisions if too few
applications are received for a particular
division. Match rules and maps are available
upon request.
